Highlights from BLP’s Autumn '25 Pitch Night

Last week, we witnessed one of the most exciting moments in our Incubator Programme, Pitch Night, where our founders stepped into the spotlight to showcase the businesses they’ve been building with dedication, resilience, and heart.

This year’s cohort has been nothing short of exceptional. Selected from over 300 applications, the final 34 founders brought an incredible mix of creativity, community impact, and entrepreneurial ambition to the room. Their business showcases set the tone for the evening, buzzing conversations, thoughtful questions from guests, and genuine excitement about the ventures emerging from this cohort.

But the highlight of the night was the final pitch competition, where five standout founders took the stage to present their ideas to a panel of judges and a packed audience. Each finalist brought something unique: bold problem-solving, personal stories, and clear growth plans. It was the kind of energy that reminds us how powerful entrepreneurship can be when people are given the support and space to grow.

And now for the results everyone was waiting for.

🥇 First Place: Taha, Winner of the £5,000 Seed Funding

Taha impressed the judges with a pitch that was compelling and deeply thoughtful. His clarity of vision, the impact potential of his business, and the confidence he brought to the stage set him apart. We’re incredibly excited to see how he uses the £5K seed funding to take his venture to the next level.

🥈 Second Place: Dominika

Dominika delivered a powerful and heartfelt presentation that resonated with both the panel and the audience. Her progress throughout the programme has been inspiring, and her pitch showcased not only a strong business model but also her commitment to making meaningful change in her sector.

🥉 Third Place: Damian

Damian secured the third spot with a confident and well-structured pitch that highlighted both innovation and clear market opportunity. His passion for his business was evident, and we know this is just the beginning of his entrepreneurial journey.

Taha emerged as the winner of the pitch event with a compelling and well-executed presentation. His pitch clearly articulated the problem, solution, and market opportunity.

The judges were impressed by the innovation, clarity, and scalability of the business. A well-deserved win that stood out among strong competition.

Business Showcase Highlights

Before the pitching began, the evening opened with our Business Showcase, where a group of selected founders from this year’s Incubator cohort presented their ventures to guests, partners, and supporters. These participants brought their ideas to life through demos, prototypes, and powerful conversations that filled the room with energy and curiosity. The showcase offered a closer look at the innovation and hard work happening behind the scenes, and highlighted just how much potential lies within this cohort’s emerging businesses.

With Mes Ambrosia, Bethlehem is bringing a taste of history to life, a naturally rich and delightfully sweet honey wine.

Khady’s venture, Jappante, aims to build sustainable community hubs offering healthcare and training to every child.

Anisa is driving innovation with a venture that blends creativity, functionality, and impact.

With a vision for change, Bahlla is creating meaningful and practical ventures.

Jamie leads a dynamic agency blending creativity, legal and marketing expertise to empower brands to thrive.

Aishah turns personal stories into wearable art, crafting pieces that are treasured for years to come.

A Celebration of Everyone Who Took Part

While the winners were celebrated on stage, the night belonged to every founder in the room. Entrepreneurship is not easy. It takes courage to test an idea, build something from scratch, and stand in front of an audience to share your vision. Every founder who showcased or pitched last night demonstrated resilience, creativity, and a commitment to growth that deserves recognition.
