Business Accelerator | Free Programme to Start or Grow Your Own Business

Requirements:

1. Aged 16 – 30
2. Living in London
3. Pre-startup (idea stage)

Are you interested in developing your business skills and building an idea from scratch? Do you have a problem you want to solve? Perhaps you have a passion you want to turn into a side hustle? Or maybe you are ready to become a full-time entrepreneur?

We have 40 FREE spaces for young people aged 16-30, who live in London and are ready to take the leap into entrepreneurship.

With this programme, you’ll be trained to develop in your business skills with 4 months of free business training. The training will provide you with the skills needed to build your product/service to test trade, successfully run your own business idea and implement it.

Alongside the 4 months, you’ll also have 1:1 business coaching with a mentor to help you implement your learnings to your business.

After 4 months of business training, you will be provided with 8 months of more business development sessions (which includes covering the topics of marketing, sale strategies, and refining your product) and your 1:1 business coach will help you implement your learnings to your business and aid you with business development and mindset growth to improve your business acumen (valued at £3000).

Along with this prize, you’ll have access to 9 months of free workspace at Tooting Works business centre (valued at £2000), as well as the 1:1 mentoring from a business coach.

The Pitch Prize | Win £5000 [GRANT]

At the end of the programme, you’ll be set to pitch for a £5000 cash grant to invest in your business.

Programme Breakdown:

• Introduction session – Meet the team, go through Programme expectations, Grant information and more! (Online – 3rd October | 6:15pm – 7:00pm)

• Business Ideation Stage (In person – 7th October |11:00am – 4:00pm)

• Website Development Sessions ; Ecommerce and Promotional Website (In-person/online – Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 16th Oct – 6th Nov (6:15pm – 8:45pm)

• Social Media Strategy and Branding (In Person/Online -13th, 16th & 20th of Nov 6:15pm – 8:20pm)

• Accounting And Finance (In Person – 4th Dec [6:15pm – 8:20pm])

• NETWORKING – How to network effectively ([In Person]11th & 18 Dec, 3rd & 8th Jan)

Aftercare [8 months]

• Mindset Growth (In Person – 15th Jan & 22nd Jan)

• Business Development Masterclasses (In Person)

Please note that most in-person events and sessions will be held at Tooting Works. The address is Tooting Works, 89 Bickersteth Road, Tooting, SW17 9SH.

Please note that there will be filming & photography during the in-person events. If you are over 18, by participating in the workshops you grant us permission to capture photo/video of you during the event. If you are under 18 we will ask for parental or guardian consent.
